We have been extremely busy already this term!
In science, we have enjoyed finding out about rocks and fossils. So far, we have found out how natural rocks are formed and explored the properties of different rocks.
We had good fun testing the durability, density and how permeable different rocks are.
We have been exploring money in maths this term. As well as adding money, we have been converting between pounds and pence by multiplying and dividing by 100.
We are aiming to use all of our skills for a 'class shop' activity!
World Book Day!
We had a great morning as Gruffalos, mice, snakes, owls, foxes, squirrels and even an acorn!
Before the snow stopped us in our tracks, we had fun creating a news report about what happened in Julia Donaldson's 'The Gruffalo'.
National Science Week!
As part of National Science Week, year 3 visited the children in reception at West Leigh.
We spent the morning working with a partner exploring our different senses. We all had great fun and loved being supportive role models to the children in reception!
