*Welcome to 5PB! (2020-21)*
Hello and welcome to 5PB's Class Page!
In 5PB, we have 29 children. We have two teachers- Mrs Pearson (Monday-Wednesday) and Mrs Barnard (Wednesday afternoon- Friday). We are also very lucky to have Mrs Fox and Mrs Axford as our Year 5 Learning Support Assistants.
In Term 2, we have P.E on Wednesday and Thursday. Please make sure you come to school on these days dressed in your P.E. kit. As it gets colder, remember to dress for the weather; this should include leggings or jogging bottoms and a jumper.
Reading and homework:
You should by now have chosen a reading book from the class bookshelf. This will be your in-class reading book. You are welcome to take the book home but make sure it comes in each morning so you can read it in class. Once you have finished with your reading book, remember to put it in the quarantine box before it goes back on the main shelf.
Reading records are back in action again now and we would like you to read at least 3 times a week (with an adult where possible). Remember to bring your reading record in every Monday to get your house points! Bug club will also be back up and running again soon, providing an additional reading resource to dip into; we will let you know when you can log back in.
News about spelling homework will be announced soon- watch this space!
