Hello and welcome to our class page.
All of the children have settled in beautifully and we are really impressed at how quickly they have made new friends, become more independent and embraced new routines and experiences.
We have recently been enjoying our transition topic ‘It’s good to be me’. We listened to the story Elmer, and thought about what makes each of us special. We learnt about our senses, and had great fun using our sense of smell to try and guess what was hidden in the ‘smelly pots’. It was quite tricky!
Now we are finding out all about ‘animals all around us’, and as part of this topic we enjoyed stories about fish, such as ‘The fish who could wish’, ‘Barry the fish with fingers’, and ‘The rainbow fish’. We decorated a fish by printing, using different circular objects, and we ordered different fish by size. We enjoyed a visit to the school pond, and this week we’re going to have some fishy visitors in the classroom!
Here are some photos of the fun and enriching activities that we are enjoying in Badger class.
