Please supervise children on the internet.

You could also look for images of the rainforests online – always check with an adult before using the internet.
Activity 3
L.I Write and illustrate a jungle poem
You are now going to write and illustrate your own jungle poem!
We would like you to write a free verse poem. So it doesn’t have to have a set rhyme or rhythm. Have a look at the link which explains what free verse is.

Please supervise children on the internet.
You might manage to include a few rhyming words in your poem but don’t focus on it rhyming too much. The main aim is to create some amazing imagery of the rainforest! Have a look at Miss J’s jungle poem below! You could use this as a writing frame and change some of the parts.
