Spellings |
Review common exception words or use Spelling Frame Your child can choose which Year 2 spelling rule they want to practice and when they have decided, click on play. On the next page, we would suggest clicking on spelling tiles which will take you to some game options. Five to ten minutes of practice is great. (There are also spellings in the English videos). |

Maths
For Maths this week, we would like you to review your learning and have some fun. Below are a few options of different games you could play. Choose one to play on Monday and one to play on Tuesday. Your super challenge for Wednesday and Thursday is to design your own board game! It could be any Maths challenge for example place value, addition, multiplication, shapes, measures or fractions. Remember to be creative and make your board game fun!
Alternative English Idea
We have added a new book to your Bug Club account called Wizards, Spiders and Castles. It is a lovely poetry book to finish the year on! Have a look at the document below with some ideas for your English lessons.
