Finley and Noah's growing bean in time lapse....!
Gene, Sam and Tom have been running the equivalent of a marathon on their driveway over the past few weeks and raising money for St John's Ambulance at the same time. They have raised an AMAZING £1200 - WELL DONE BOYS!! What a fantastic effort. You should be so very proud of your efforts - we certainly are!

Miss Taylor’s Riddle:
I can be played but I’m not a board game.
I have keys but I don’t have any locks.
I have hammers but I don’t have any nails.
I have pedals but I’m not a bicycle.
I can be tuned but I’m not a radio.
George, Ben & Findlay’s Riddle:
I fly but I don’t have wings.
People always chase me but never catch me.
I don’t have a beginning nor do I have an end.
If you watch me, I stand still.
Wednesday 1st April
So we begin a new month working and learning at home.....keep up the great work everyone. You are all doing an amazing job!
I have a new challenge for you! As well as the lovely pictures you are sending in of the learning that you've been doing, I'd like you to send in some pictures of you cooking! This could be helping bake a cake or making tea for your family. Get creative and get baking!
Mrs Pearson's Limerick!
There once was a teacher, Miss Pea
who liked to teach science you see
but it did her no good
her brains turned to wood
then all she could say was 'he he'
There once once was a deputy head
who failed to get out of his bed
so rushing to his school
he felt such a great fool
he face blushed a bright shade of red!
There once was a head of a school
Who liked every sport even boul
he rode his bike each day
never once lost his way
except once the silly old fool!
Well, you've made it...nearly! Week 1 complete. Thanks to all the staff who have been working so hard this week to ensure those children who have been in have had an enriching learning experience. Hats off to all you grown ups at home - helping your children with their work and keeping everything else running smoothly, including your jobs in many cases.
Remember, we're here to help if you need us. Just email either school address and teachers will be in touch.
Keep the messages and pictures coming, we're loving seeing what you're up to....
Thanks for all of the pictures and contributions so far....keep them coming. It's been lovely to see what you've all been up to! Well done for such creativity.

Wednesday 25th March
Hi everyone, I hope you're all staying safe and behaving yourselves for your grown ups at home!
The children who've been here at West Leigh have been keeping busy with the same home learning you have been doing and we've also been busy doing a variety of art and exercise activities. Premier Sport have been in to help keep us active too.
I'll keep you all regularly updated with what we've been up to and if you have any pictures of things you've been doing that you're happy to go on the website, please email them to school and we'll post them here.
Check out the lovely rainbow we created earlier this week below.
Keep busy, keep active and be good!!
