Our School Council has a very important role.
Pupils from each class vote to select two pupils from their class to represent them on the school council.
The pupils on the school council plan and organise different fund raising events at school. The pupils share their ideas and choose charities and fundraising events democratically.
Last year just some of the fundraising school events they planned were for 'Children in Need' and 'Comic Relief'. The pupils were also involved in interviews for new leadership appointments at the school.
Keep checking this webpage for updates on exciting events we are planning this year...
Children in Need
Our School Council organised a very successful Children in Need day at West Leigh. The children had a fantastic day dressed in spotty clothes. Each class also enjoyed an afternoon tea with their teachers too.
