Savage Stone Age!
We have really enjoyed getting stuck into our new 'Savage Stone Age' topic.
In our first lesson, we thought about what we would do if we woke up in Stone Age Britain! As a class, we decided the most important thing would be to find water, followed by shelter and clothes. We then wrote some fantastic diary entries inspired by this activity!
Inspirational maths days
We had lots of fun on the two inspirational maths days!
We spent a morning creating a fantastic 'city of arrays' which is on display in the hall.
This linked to our work on multiplication as well as looking brilliant.
In addition, we played some maths games which involved a lot of problem solving and team work. We enjoyed exploring tessellating shapes and solving puzzles too.
