Hello Year 4!
Well done on reaching the end of your 12th week of home learning! (WOW!)You have all continued to hugely impress us with your positivity and determination throughout this period.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Zoom chats with you this week and it made our day seeing all your lovely smiling faces on the screen! We can't wait to see all those faces in person during the last week of term when we will finally all be reunited.
It's great to see lots of you still enjoying Bug Club and TTRS. Well done and keep up the great work!
Our TTRS Certificate Champions This Week Are:
Thomas - 'Breakthrough' Artist Status
Mr Webster's Blog Superstars This Week Are:
Lacey - what an AMAZING sketch of an eye for the Art lesson the other week - so detailed and accurate. Well done!
Thomas - what a SUPERB rap Thomas has written and performed. Definitely a rapper in the making as this is Thomas' second rap during lockdown - Well done! (with some super dance moves from his brother!)
Bethany - what a FANTASTIC and professional video! Bethany has put so much thought and effort into this. How many hits can it get on YouTube I wonder?! Well done!
Please find below this week's learning timetable. If you are in school, please remember that we do the same lessons each day of the week:
Tuesday - Art
Wednesday - History
Thursday - Science
Please make sure you don't do these subjects at home if you are in on one of the days above! Likewise, don't be tempted to rush ahead with the English or Maths - Thank you!
Apologies for the lack of reading last week. To make up for it, you have 4 chapters to enjoy this week! The first chapter is read by Mrs Withers (The Witches 1), the second by Mrs Curtis (The Witches 2) and the third and fourth by Mrs Jones! (The Witches 3 and 4)
Computing - E-Safety
A few weeks ago we sent home an email which suggested a website you could use for your e-safety learning. We hope you have been finding this useful. The website release new videos and activities every fortnight so please continue to check in for new resources as keeping safe online is even more relevant now you are using your devices so much more at home.
We have included the link below - you can also access all previous weeks learning in case you have missed any or not yet had a chance to take a look.
Please only access this website with adult support as they will need to guide you to resources in the correct age range.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
