FINAL WEEK OF YEAR 4!
As we enter our final week in Year 4, we reflect on what has indeed been an extra-ordinary school year. As teachers, we feel incredibly sad that we have not been able to share fully the good times of life in year 4 with you all. Yet despite being away from most of you for several months, we have continued to be SO impressed with your enormous resilience, determination and commitment whilst at home during these testing times. A big thank you must also go to your mums and dads for all their support with the home learning too - you (and us) couldn't have done it without them!
We are so proud of every single one of you for all your effort and hard work.
You are such a wonderful group of children and we just wish we had been able to spend more time with you all. We know you will return in September and make your new year 5 teachers just as proud of you as we are.
In the meantime, we can NOT wait to be reunited with you all on Wednesday! We are looking forward to hearing all your news and having some fun together before you go and have a well-earned summer break. (There will be no home-learning over the summer holidays)
GOODBYE AND GOOD LUCK!
The end of the school year also marks the end of an era for one of our very special and dedicated teachers. Mrs Withers has been teaching at the Junior School for 16 years and during that time has supported and taught hundreds of very lucky pupils.
As a year 4 team, we have felt incredibly fortunate to have worked with Mrs Withers and will be so sad to see her leave on Thursday. However, we are also really excited for her and can't wait to hear what adventure she ends up on next!
Mrs Withers - THANK YOU so much for everything you have done for us all - you are a true legend! BJS definitely won't be the same without you and we will all miss you terribly.
We are also very sad to be saying goodbye to the fabulous Mrs Wemyss who has worked incredibly hard to support us in year 4. She has also done a fantastic job during lockdown, teaching some of the key worker children. Mrs Wemyss is leaving us to undertake teacher training and we have no doubt whatsoever that she will make an AMAZING teacher.
Mrs Wemyss - THANK YOU for all your help and hard work. We wish you every success as you embark on your teacher training. We will really miss you.

Well done girls!
Sadly we have not been able to finish reading the whole of 'The Witches' this term, but if you would like to continue listening there is a link below to hear someone else continuing to read it on YouTube. You need to start the video at 2.06 hours to begin from where we left off last week. Enjoy!
