Welcome back!
Term 4 has been an exciting one for 3H!
Topic
The end of term 4 marked the end of 3H's Stone Age topic. We had great fun making Stone Age weapons, creating Stone Age information posters and cave paintings and rehearsing and performing our Stone Age class assembly!
During term 4, we also went on our exciting trip to Stanton Drew!
We had a great morning exploring the standing stones and learning about the history of the area.
When we got back to school, we spent the afternoon in the woods exploring the cave and learning how to make fire and pinch pots!
We had an amazing day!!
In maths, 3H learnt all about money. We practised; identifying different coins, adding coins, solving money problems, converting money from £ to P and giving change!
To finish off this topic we transformed our classroom into a shopping mall, complete with cafe, fruit and veg stand, clothing shop and toy shop!
We really enjoyed practising giving change in a real life context!
We really enjoyed dressing up for Red Nose Day! As a school we raised over £200!!
