Guidance for completing your maths work:
Day 1: multiplying decimals
LI: to multiply decimal numbers by powers of 10

Ref challenge: Day1 worksheet refresher challenge. You can use a place value grid to help you.

Extension: Multiplying decimals investigation. You will need a coin, dice and a calculator.
Day 2: dividing decimals
LI: to divide decimals by powers of ten

Extension: Play ‘Is there a pair there?’. You will need a dice, coloured crayon and partner to play this game.
Day 3: revision of unit on decimals
LI: to recap key learning points for deimals: addition, subtraction, multiplication , division and sequencing
Today you can select which area you want to practise. You do not need to complete all the revision materials instead focus on the areas you have found more challenging.
Day 4: assessment
LI: to assess block 1 decimals
Today you will need to complete the ‘End of block assessment’. Mark your own assessment.
Remember to try your best but do not worry if you get some wrong – MISTAKES are MARVELOUS!
