As we enter our final week of the school year, we just want to say a huge thank you for all of your hard work at home over these past few months.
When we finished school on Friday 20th March, we certainly didn’t think that it would have been our last week together. We have missed all of you a huge amount. You have all coped extremely well under such strange circumstances; we couldn’t be prouder.
Your parents and carers also deserve a huge mention too as they have supported you all so well throughout. Everyone has had a different experience during lockdown and we know that they will have done their very best to help you at home.
We are very much looking forward to seeing you on Thursday and we know that your new teachers are excited to meet you too!
The summer holidays are now on the horizon and we hope you can enjoy a well-earned break doing the things you enjoy, ready for the new year in September. Seeing you as grown up year 6s will take a lot of getting used to but we know that you’ve got a fantastic last year ahead and we’ll still be here to share it with you!
Love from Mrs Barnard, Mrs Pearson, Miss Taylor and Mrs Tapping
